Telehealth (also known as telemedicine) is offered as needed or requested by the client. It is the client’s responsibility to check their insurance to see if telehealth sessions are covered. The telehealth platform I use is through ICANotes, which is the electronic health record I use in my private practice. This platform is HIPAA compliant. A link is sent to you through your cell phone number or email. There is nothing needed to download. I do ask that both your camera and microphone are on during the session. If I feel there are safety concerns, telehealth would not be offered.
