Couples Therapy is provided to couples who are experiencing stress in their relationships. Communication often needs to be healed. Oftentimes, individual therapy may be recommended. It is difficult to work with a couple when the individuals need to focus on their own stressors first, as this is often the barrier happening in the relationship. There can be emotional leftovers from childhood or previous relationships that need to be healed first. Couples Therapy is often private pay as most insurances do not cover this therapy.
